Today I finished the comic I've been working on for the past month and a bit. Still got some shading to do on the last chapter but otherwise it's complete and I'm very happy with it. Yes, the "production" value diminished towards the end but these things happen... now that it's finished, I can finally try and get back to some ideas I had or have been having recently.
Opened a can of worms called "Final Fantasy VIII" recently and my love for that game has been rekindled - not entirely sure how as I haven't been replaying the game until today (as a reward for finishing the comic). But it has dawned on me that over the past however many long years that I've been drawing, I've drawn remarkably little of those characters and I think it's high time I remedied that! Their outfits are hardly Koei for details so I have no idea why I haven't really explored the lands with my trusty pencils...
I've also been dabbling in musical "styles" after my brother introduced me to the wonder of slowing songs down to a very low BPM. It's crazy how catchy some of the more recent tracks are when they're so very much slower.. However, one of my favourites has to be Cypress Hill's "Insane in the Brain". xD Quality. And Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" at 40bpm sounds like something out of a Robert Rodriguez movie. xD
So onward to Final Fantasy lands, while I'll be leaving the 22nd century alone for a while.. I will return.
Me thinks Sol and Chipp will be thankful of the rest.. let them recharge their batteries.
